The South Morocco Adventures agency is the oldest tourist transport agency in the Tafilalet region (southeast Morocco), its founder Lhadj Lahcen BOKBOT was, with his partner and friend Lhadj moha or Hammou OUNIR, the pioneers in the field in the whole region of south-eastern Morocco since the beginning of the 1970s. It is thanks to their initiative that the first tourist excursions took place to the dunes of the oasis of Merzouga, famous for its magnificent dunes where we witness the sunrise or at sunset, visit nomad tents and fossil quarries. At the time, they provided transport on the tracks in trucks, before acquiring the first all-terrain vehicles (Land-Rovers) in the entire region.

Thus, South Morocco Adventures has worked with all the tour operators having exercised in the field of tourism in Morocco, among others Fram voyages, Globus Travel, Studiosus Riesen, Major Travel Service, Ophirs Tours and Pinto Tours, and was the first to ensure the transport logistics for the famous “Marathon des Sables” which continues to be organized in the region.

The commitment of Lhadj Lahcen, his seriousness, his punctuality, the availability of his drivers, their perfect knowledge of the field and the care of his sons in serving tourists after his death, were and are the assets of the South Morocco Adventures agency, which have earned him the reputation which is his among the managers of tour operators and the guides and generations of tourists who have traveled on board his vehicles.
